Rainbow Moonstone is a term sometimes used to describe fine colorless, transparent labradorite that displays a rainbow-colored iridescence. Internally repeating feldspar layers scatter the light that enters the stone creating a mystical blue glow that reminds one of moonbeams known as adularescence. Metaphysically, Moonstone is known as the stone of love, fertility, intuition, magic, protection, hope, and spiritual purity. Moonstone calms and encourages as it teaches us the natural rhythms of life, opens the heart to empathy, and assists in the acceptance of love.
